Before starting GGA Pest Management Services in 1987 he had worked in research with The Texas Agricultural Experiment Station, University of Arkansas and American Cyanamid Company.  Fred is a Board Certified Entomologist with the Entomological Society of America.  He was President of The Texas Pest Control Association in 1998.

Fred is married to Janet and they have two children, Eric and Sarah.  He is a member of Crestview Church of Christ in Waco. He enjoys working on their twenty acres in Lorena.
